Movement begins as a trace: an image, a sound, a memory, a word, a sensation. Through physical research, these fragments are repeated, transformed, and placed in relation to space and to other bodies. Choreography emerges from this process of listening, shifting, and composing. It is not only a form to be seen, but a space where perception can change. A movement disappears, but something of it remains.
What remains of a movement when it is no longer visible?
Immagini, ricordi, idee, parole e suoni si sovrappongono come un viaggio. Quello che chiamiamo performance è la traccia di questo movimento. Images, memories, ideas, words and sounds overlap as a journey. What we call performance is the trace of this movement.
